The Cockerel. Just 386m asl but getting there is like a traverse on the moon. It's hard work but what a panorama when the summit is reached. If you are lucky, golden eagles may be sited.

At 799n asl, the Clisham is the highest peak in Harris. The climb is steep and the going is 'rough', Allow 5 hours to the summit and back. Sensible clothing and foorwaer are essentail.

A small township in Harris with the most remote youth hostel in the UK. There is a great track walk ( approx 10km) back to Tarbert and the ciimb up Todun (528m) is well worth the effort.
