Fascinating ancient quarry under the cliff, these caves have got all the history anyone could want. Guided tours are very informative. Holnest’s bat population spend their winters here.

Please note we haven’t personally tried Full of Beans as our children are grown but it’s well thought of locally. Soft play for under 7s, over 7s welcome in the cafe.

60 acres of beautiful gardens, there’s more to do here than can be done in one day. So much amazing stuff to see, they have a Hermitage! And a museum of Lister engines! Outdoor play! Narrow gauge railway! A bar! Garden centre! They will freely loan a wheelchair too, and wheelchairs can access the railway carriages.
