Paddling around the 14th century ruins of Carrick Castle and see if you can spot the Star Fish. Double, Single Sit-on-top Kayaks, Stand-up Paddle Boards and open Canoes. Fantastic time.

City Link "SKY or 900" goes from Edinburgh Airport (EDI) to Glasgow Buchanan St Bus Stn.
Glasgow Buses start from Glasgow Buchanan Bus Stn
Some also include Glassgow Airport (or the Bus 500 goes between Airport & Buchanan St Stn).

CityLink 976 Glasgow-Oban
Both go to "Rest and be Thankful * Lochgoilhead Junction” -Closest (Not winter)
And 2nd closest "Ardgartan* Forestry Tourist Office" - all year.
From here you will need a Taxi.
302 Helensburgh-Carrick Castle Bus (Blue Bus - Garelochead coaches) stops outside Carrick Farm.
To Catch the 302 use the City 926 / 976 to the "Rest & Be Thankful" or "Ardgartan" or "Tarbet Hotel". You can change to the 302 from these 3 stops.
Other options are Citylink 914, 915, 916, 917 which all go to "Tarbet opp Hotel on A82" (this is the A82/A83 Junction)
Then catch the 302 Bus to Carrick Castle, which is the last stop.
There are no shortage of Busses coming as far as Tarbet / Arrochar - (only a few trains). Buses are cheeper & not any slower journey time. They run pretty well on time too.
Days out can also be planned on the 484 Bus to Dunoon, Inc Benmore Gardens.
