GFM is an amazing place to visit; to cross the swinging bridge, to view all of the lush valley beneath, to catch sight of the protected raptor species that hover and nest around the cliff faces. Everyone needs to visit Grandfather Mountain (the highest peak of the eastern Blue Ridge, and one of the oldest mountains in the world.)
