locals know and love this place, crazy comfortable crowded, early and Tuesdays otherwise there might be a wait, no worries the bar is always open and the folks are fun. Don't miss the alligator cheesecake! not a dessert and you'll eat every bite!

The menu has so many great items it's hard for me to not order one of everything. My favorites include melt in your mouth Blue Crab Beignets, seasoned Roasted Brussel Sprouts and an bowl of the best Stoned Ground Grits I've ever had. And I love grits. With so many great eating spots in NOLA and a personal desire to spread the love, my best recommendation is I keep coming back to Petite Grocery.

Love this cozy, friendly restaurant with a great bar and a specialty drink list so interesting I had to try one of each one evening. The Sophia Lauren is pink but not sweet. One sip of the Dark and Stormy and every sentence ends with "Arr Matey" and I now feel like a local after having my first Sazerac. Beautifully blended by Margot, it's an original 1800 New Orleans drink which has turned me into a rye whiskey lover. I'll let you visit on your own to test the other great selections. And yes, I may have ordered one of each but I had help sipping the perfections.
