Neighborhoods

The Georgetown neighborhood has cobblestone streets, great shops, and restaurants. You cannot miss Martin's Tavern where JFK proposed to Jacqueline Kennedy.

Popular amongst past presidents and perhaps future ones! The Tavern is a great place for a bite to eat and to witness where historical events happened, like JFK proposing to Jackie Kennedy. Great for brunch, lunch or dinner!

Ben's chili bowl is one of the oldest restaurants in DC and its where Obama can eat for free - for life! This counter service restaurant serves fast eats and of course Chili. Be prepared, there is typically a line.

Consejos para la ciudad

Facilidad para moverse por la casa

The metro is the quickest way to get around!

The metro can bring you all over Washington DC and the metro stops are beautiful to see, especially the Gallery Place metro stop. It is a huge dome and looks quite cool! Great photo opportunity.
Antes de que te vayas

Holocaust Memorial Museum

The museum is one of the only Smithsonian's that requires you to have a ticket, its in high demand and I recommend booking a ticket before coming to DC or early on in your trip.
