Donner lake has two beaches open to the public. One along the south and east side of the lake is part of the Donner Memorial State Park and the one one the Northwest side of the lake has 1.5 miles of public beaches and docks.

Sports
A wonderful ski resort especially catering to families. Definitely the best ski resort in the area and only 5 minutes away from the condo. Be sure to take the gondola into the resort in the winter. Its free and a lovely way to see the mountains.

Sugar Bowl Resort
629 Sugar Bowl RdA wonderful ski resort especially catering to families. Definitely the best ski resort in the area and only 5 minutes away from the condo. Be sure to take the gondola into the resort in the winter. Its free and a lovely way to see the mountains.

Take a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail from Hwy 80 to Squaw Valley! You can walk a mile or for as long as you want on a beautiful part of the PCT accessible from the road just a few miles from the condo.
