paleontologist paradise. famous for dinosaur bone findings. the museum has loads of info on dinosaurs. there are incredible hoodoo landscapes all around, and a huge dinosaur to climb in. its within driving distance of calgary.

If you are any sort of book worm, this library is absolutely massive. It is beautiful architecturally as well. Book lovers dream place.

very touristy and pricey. if you have a bit of extra time, banff is beautiful. lakes, rivers and mountains galore. beautiful spot. though like I said, it is very pricey and extremely touristy all year round.

A lot less touristy than Banff or Jasper, and a bit closer to town. The prices aren't as outrageous either. Kananaskis country is just as beautiful. Gorgeous lakes, rivers, waterfalls and mountains. Amazing hiking trails around the area.
