You can see houses from different periods of Danish history. It is an active museum with actors caring out tasks relevant to the time of the area of the museum. There are small shop where you can buy sweet, cakes and souvenirs. You can bring your own lunch and eat it in one of the places intended for that purpose or eat in a cozy inn or get a hotdog at the hotdog stand

The area around the museum is well worth some time as well. Hills, forest and beach. It is for sure a scenic area.
