Great little spot for a day trip and a scenic drive. Lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants. Saturday Market on from 9am - 1pm. Access Lyttelton from Dyers Pass or the Tunnel. You can continue on Evans Pass through to Sumner for more scenery.

If you don’t have time to do the Taylors Mistake walk you can access Godley Head by car for a nice scenic drive. There is a car park at the end of the road. Perfect spot for a picnic or a few photos along the way.

If you want a nice scenic walk check this out. Just a 15min drive from our place. Park at the end of Rapaki Rd and walk the track up to Summit Rd and back. (1h 30min return).
