The theater is the oldest continually operating in NY State dating from the 1800s. After show, you can duck around the corner to the Brasserie 292 for drinks and dessert, and feel like you've stepped into a Paris cafe.

It's a unique rarely seen type of cantilevered bridge, and has quite a crazy history. Great views of sunsets, sunrises, and people watching as well as Hudson River Valley watching. Spectacular views.

Eleanor's place and it's worth the price of the tour ticket. Order it in advance. Docents are great and the tour is short and won't eat into your day. You can see and experience everything in an hour. I try to visit at least once a year. It's inspirational.
