Not sure why this says salon/barbershop.... but Coronado Island is a great place to wander around and spend a few hours exploring the shops, restaurants, beaches and of course, the Hotel Del (Del Coronado).

Best zoo in the country. Really well thought out, maintained and curated. Unique plants from around the world, representative of the animals’ native foliage. Best info can be had on the bus or behind-the-scenes tours. Worth the extra money. Not a cheap outing, but well worth the money.
Wear COMFY shoes and be ready to walk!!

Favorite beach if you want to lounge in the grass, look at the waves and still be able to stroll down to the beach for a walk/play in the water. Plus, once you are parked it is an easy walk to shops and restaurants - no need to drive again if you don’t want to.
