Fabulous Beaches
There are many blue flag beaches along the Costa Blanca Coast but we have listed some of our favourite.
La Zenia Beach - Our closest beach and also handily on the local Costa Azul Bus route !
Lo Pagen - About 30 mins drive along the AP7 takes you to the magical Mar Menor, a body of water which is sheltered and often 3/4 degrees warmer. Cover yourself with Vulcanic Mud , dry then wash it off to feel 10 years younger ! Great for the Body and Soul.
Mil Palmeras - Great waves and a long sandy beach with water sports
Torre de la Horradada - Magical old port with castle. Two fabulous beaches and the best place to go for a walk and the famous Icereams.
Santiago de la Ribera - What can I say, full of Spanish resturants , best Churros for miles ! Lots of parties and beach front celebrations throughout the summer.
World famous Real Club De Regatas yacht club offers a taste of the exclusive. Loads of water sports on offer

Most of them are of a good standard
Our pick of the bunch must be The Hen's Teeth on the ground floor. Amazing food, very attentive staff and every Saturday the 'Streeters' perform live. Our tip, book early for an inside table to get a front row seat for the band. You will not regret it !
Just sliding into second place is the Copper Chimney, a fantastic Indian Cuisine at an affordable price. Best Indian Restaurant we have been to for 15 years.
It is located next to the Hens Teeth so a double bonus!

A short list of water parks and activities near the Villa
Quite simply the best water park we have been to. It is small, secure , has plenty to rides for children of all ages. Sun loungers for adults looking to top up their tan ! Great food, reasonably priced and most importantly lots of lifeguards who are very professional, confident and friendly. Suitable from years 1 to 99 !!!!

Another good water park in Torrevieja, this time much lager than Flamingos. Great for older children and adults willing to lose their swim wear on the near vertical drop flumes !
