Very close to our place (around the corner). French fusion. Gregoire and Stephane are the owners and they are very gracious. It is a bit on the expensive side but the food is always good and the wine selection is extensive. They have an outdoor patio and are open fairly late.

St. Lawrence Market is the go to place in Toronto fresh food (meat, fish, veggies, baked goods, deli, cheeses etc.). This place is bustling on Saturdays (closed on Sundays and Mondays). Great selection of fish and seafood. If you like gian tasty veal sandwiches make sure you hit Uno Mustachio's in the basement. They discount them around 4pm on Saturdays. Also if you arrive around 4:30pm on Saturdays you can get some amazing deals (try the Sushi place on the basement because they clear out what's left at 30 to 50% off). Gus' meat market is great for all types of meat.
