we used to run/exercise at Zinkil Park. It's 10 minutes away (3 1/2 miles). It had a running/walking trail with exercise stations. My wife worked nearby that's how we knew about it. Caveat: we have not been back there in over a decade, but it can be on your way to Hollywood Beach, so you may want to take a look at it.

5451 Washington Stwe used to run/exercise at Zinkil Park. It's 10 minutes away (3 1/2 miles). It had a running/walking trail with exercise stations. My wife worked nearby that's how we knew about it. Caveat: we have not been back there in over a decade, but it can be on your way to Hollywood Beach, so you may want to take a look at it.
This park opened recently, we've not been there yet. There are 8 Google reviews with a 4.6 star rating. It's 5 minutes away to the west (2 miles).

Pools & Water Parks
This pool is walking distance from the house (<1/2mile) and is the one to go to. Don’t go to our community pool, go to Miramar Aquatic Center instead. Why? They always have a lifeguard in-duty, in the winter the water is heated, it has a kiosk, it has supervision, roped off lanes for swimming laps, kids splash fountain area, cleaner water, and overall just much nicer. it’s a $1.50 for non-residents and $1 for residents, which is just enough to often give you the whole pool to yourself.
