Classic Berlin "kindercafe" - a bit like "soft play" space in the UK. This is well equipped - good selection of toys and ball pit and slides - and great when quiet, but can get v busy in winter.

Our local farmers market is here every Saturday, 9am - 2pm, 3 blocks walk away, so is a great playground and also the Weimar-era classic sculpture the Fertility Fountain (aka Bull Fountain).

Great location in middle of the V park, sixties DDR plate glass building makes you feel like you're outside when you're in, fantastic brunches (and more), good prices. Busy in summer. Lovely though.

Christian Kahrmann is super-friendly, and he's created a lovely cafe with great homemade food, decorated with flowers and plants everywhere, and the best ice-cream in the area - kids and adults loveit
