Wonderful castle with great walks all around the walled city, heaps of beautiful panoramas, but if you suffer from vertigo may not be for you!

Monsaraz is a charming step back in time. Not only the town is lovely, but the area is as well. The views are incredible. It is a side trip that should not be missed.

This chapel is literally lined wall-to-wall with human bones. Whilst creepy and not for the faint-hearted, it is quite interesting and a must-see once in Évora.

Take a ferry from Setúbal to this sandy peninsula, and bask on the beach or visit Roman ruins and flocks of flamingos on the Rio Sado Estuary. In the summer you can dive and swim with wild dolphins

It is one of the best view on the Atlantic ocean not so far from Sesimbra. Rocks, wild see, light-house on the hill, the old church, the steps of dinosaurs and magic atmosphere especially by the end of the day.

This is a worth seeing piece of heaven. Everything tidy and clean there is boundaries limited with ropes to protect the flora on those cliffs. But the views are breathtaking.

It is formed by a long and beautiful sandy area with a sumptuous background of dunes and rocks. The waves here allow for some sports such as surfing or bodyboarding.
The beach is very quiet and nudism is allowed in the northern area.

These gardens are worth a visit- beautiful trees, waterfalls and hidden paths to explore. Go into the underground tunnels and over the water on a the stepping stones. And lots of towers to climb for great views!
