Everyones favorite. Where the surfers surf, surf lessons are given, where we walk the beach, the famous Hanalei Pier, swim, watch the surfers, children, tourboats, sailboats, six-man canoes, one mans's Surfski's and all kinds of watercraft. The half moon bay is the biggest attraction. Hanalei town is known for farmers markets, shopping, restaurants plus old style Hawaiian homes, Hanalei School, churches and a soccer field. Keep going and head out of town towards the end of the road, passing many beaches, a restaurant/resort, and finally to Ke'e beach where the Kalalau hiking trail begins.
