This is a beautiful old fishing village where you can get plenty of local fresh fish and enjoy a walk along the piers or take a small boat trip to Ireland’s eye (from the West pier) for about €15. Leo Burdocks is famous for great fish and chips at the end of the day.

This is a fairly new lidl and very well stocked with general groceries and some other items and of course it’s super cheap! The fresh produce is good quality, and they have organic options. There’s also a good gluten free section.

The largest enclosed public park in any capital city in Europe opened in 1747. There's lots to do and see here including Dublin Zoo, The President's House (Aras an Uachtarain), Farmleigh House, coffee shops, cycle trails and walks. You can also check out phoenixpark.ie for any park events.

You can check out Glendalough Visitor Centre and take a walk or drive to the Upper Lake from there. There's lots of hiking trails so grab a map and choose a route, or alternatively you can take a shorter walk beside the lakes.
