Beautiful island just next to Rävö. Many beautiful walking trails (especially kockholmen), places for swimming and picnic. In the harbour there is a small grocery shop where they also sell fantastic pizzas (try Rossö special) and a nice restaurant.

Nice places to swim
The swimming area at Rävö (10 min walking) is nice for all ages. Do not miss the magical sunsets here! At Rossö (5 min by car) you find white sandy beaches, especially at kockholmen. Resö also beautiful island that you reach by car (20 min) with many nice places to sunbathe and swim. Lagunen camping has a sandy beach with a lot of fun activities for children. Hällekind strand in Strömstad: really beautiful white sandy beaches. If you want to combine sauna and swimming in the sea, visit Strömstad kallbadhus. If the sea is calm, take the canoe to find your own private island, or rent a boat.

Strömstad shoppingcenter and Tanum shoppingcenter are the biggest nearby. Both of them have wide range grocery shops. At Rossö (5 min drive) harbour you will find a small grocery shop.

Protect yourself and the kids by wearing pants and longsleeved sweaters and avoid walking/playing in high grass. At the pharmacy you can find mosquito repellants, use them especially in the evening when mosquitos are most active. To treat itch after bites, buy hydrocortisone cream and antihistamine tablets at the pharmacy. Each evening look for ticks and remove them from the body. At the pharmacy you can buy tick-remover that makes it easier and can be used on both humans and pets.
