Food scene
Only a short bike ride or car ride from the cottage. This old Inn dates back to the 1500's. Amazing food and atmosphere. During April, May, June, later half of August pre bookings only and a pre set menu. In July and first half of August the pub in the backyard is open Wednesday-Saturday 17.00-20.00. It’s a buffet style dinner with BBQ meats, smoked salmon, salads, wood burning pizza oven serving fresh pizzas, local beer and lots more.

There is a garden here that was established in the early 1900s that you can see for a small fee. In the greenhouse you can have a great bite to eat and sit under the 100 year old grape vines. There's also and arts exhibition and an antique store on the premises.

This restaurant sits at the top of Kinnekulle. Great place for a hearty, Swedish lunch. Several hiking trails start here as well.
