Hikes
A beautiful hotel to have drinks or a meal. Built in 1900, it still has a historic elevator from that time! Can be reached via a 5 minute funicular ride from Davos Platz, or one can hike up to it directly from our home (1 hour). Also a great place to start a hike to up to Strela Pass (50 minutes) and/or over the other side towards Arosa. (Have lunch at Berghaus Heimeli, 2 hour hike from Schatzalp)

Authentic Swiss restaurant with excellent fondues and fantastic ice cream dessert creations as well as delicious pies. Beautiful pine interior. Hike there in summer or cross country ski there in winter for lunch. Or drive there for dinner any time of year

Great place to have lunch while skiing. One can also ski down from here all the way to the village of Küblis, then take the train (45 minutes) back up to Davos. Weissflühgipfel to Küblis is an amazingly long ski run! (The map link on this place refers to a different Schwendi)
