Neighborhoods
This is a fantastic beach area with lots to do. There is great surfing in front of the unit. The swimming beach is to the left of the pier. Lots of people fish from Crystal Pier and they sell bait there. No fishing license required. There are tons of bars, restaurants, shops and vendors down by the beach selling shirts, jewelry and other items. There is also a CVS a few blocks down on Mission Blvd. and a Ralph's. There is a liquor store at the corner of Emerald and Mission Blvd. just around the corner. There are bike rentals nearby on Mission Blvd. and elsewhere and surfboard rentals. There is a bike/walking bath that goes north toward La Jolla and south down to Belmont Park. Great for people watching and getting around.
