If you like to hike, head up to the Superior Hiking trail. There’s over 300 miles of trail right up the road! The Oberg Mountain Loop in particular is a great, easy to moderate 2.3-mile loop with fantastic views.

If you want to see moose, go for a drive up the Gunflint Trail towards Grand Marais and the boundary waters. In the winter the moose like to lick the salt by the roadside right around dusk!
