Monumental
A Place of historical importance. The Pazhassi Raja Landscape Museum, situated at Mavilanthod, Pulpally is the place where the King of Kottayam was martyred in 1805 CE. The memorial stone and the statue at this place commemorate his fierce and strong opposition to the British rule. Recently, an open-air museum was constructed at this place with sculptures made of fibre material, which portray the life story of Pazhassi Raja. A park and a library have also been set up in this place
