Here you can walk the site of the battle of Hastings and stand on the very spot where King Harold met his fate. There are atmospheric abbey ruins to explore and especially for the children there is an 1066' themed out door play area (suitable for 4 - 12 year olds). The village of Battle is also great to explore and shop.
