These are all recommendations for places to eat within Scarborough and the surrounding villages.
This is the top restaurant and bar in the surrounding Scarborough area. It is just a 15 minute drive away from the apartment (easy to get a taxi too). The service and food here is exceptional so. It is usually busy so we would recommend booking in advance as well as trying your luck on the day for any cancellations!

They have recently revamped their menu and have a great chef. They serve great food in a comfortable pub setting. The Plough is easy to get to by car or taxi and we would recommend booking in advance.

The Horseshoe Inn is an old school village pub with delicious food. It is a little further afield than other spots as it is in Hunmanby, about a 35 minute drive away. However if you are returning from Bempton Cliffs, Filey or Bridlington and need somewhere to stop for good food, this is the place.

Bareca is a new restaurant/bar on the scene in Scarborough. It is situated in the Bike & Boot hotel overlooking the spa bridge and South Bay. Sadly, there is no outside seating but the contemporary food and cocktail menu makes it a great place to visit in town. Booking in advance may be required in the evenings.

The Green Room is a high-quality restaurant in the centre of town. It is popular amongst locals and tourists alike. It is located on Bar Street, an old street, with many sewing shops. The menu is of a good standard and the food is delicious.
