Surprisingly good food. Good bar. Large outdoor area with bon fire and music on Friday and Saturday nights. Most guest are visiting the lake.

Smell the bbq when you walk in and you will know. Also great Knoxville style sub sandwiches. In the spring and summer they offer craft beer and local draught beer. Try the Scorned Hooker if in stock. Some fishing and kayaking gear next door, as well as kayak rentals and portage. Other side of the dam from the cabin. Closes for the winter.

Great beer. Great outdoor venue. We have visited the brewery, with family and kids, and dogs. All had a great time. About a 45 min drive.

Good beer, good food. Smaller indoor facility but nice out door back yard. Always so nice. About 30 taps of their beer and other local brews. The attached kitchen has really good food.

Nature trails and Waterfalls
Nice hike at the top of the ridge along the river. You can hike down to the top of the falls as well. Beautiful area. There is access to the bottom of the falls via kayak.

We saw a sign in Smithville about hugging goats and having ice cream. Well, we purchased some of their cheese at a farmer's market and oh man! It is good. We can't wait to visit.
