Although the castle may be the town's main attraction there are other interesting places to visit in this Royal Town. In the town centre you'll find small streets off the main square, these offer shops and boutiques selling local produce, small businesses as well as eateries and pubs. Down towards the newly refurbished Quay you'll discover more local businesses as well as the Welsh Highland Railway. https://www.festrail.co.uk/ The other side of the Quay, you'll find a footbridge that will take you on a path over the Abershore and Y Foryd. There's a park here for children and further on a golf club. This is a lovely walk, on your way back there's the option of grabbing a drink at the Anglesey pub, this is especially popular on a sunny day. If you retreat here evening time, you might be fortunate to see the sunset over the Menai with Anglesey in the background. Should you carry on walking past the castle walls, you'll find the theatre/cinema at Y Galeri and more places to eat/drink.
