You cannot beat the corn beef hash and eggs here! New. Hopping, great service. Atmosphere a bit like Mel's diner. I mean that in a good nostalgic way.

Large, clean, crystal clear, and alligator free! The water too cold for gators unlike many other South Carolina Lakes, yet it is just right for most people and kids May through September! Lots of Islands, Home to many famous fishing tournaments like the BASS Elite series on ESPN. It is not crowed so you can kayak and paddleboard, water ski, or put along!

I love this place. So many trails, fountains, flowers, bike trails and even a dinosaur and fossil museum. I will be adding own pic here soon! Pets are welcome in most areas when leashed. There is a peter rabbit storybook children's garden too.

Willow Oak LaneI love this place. So many trails, fountains, flowers, bike trails and even a dinosaur and fossil museum. I will be adding own pic here soon! Pets are welcome in most areas when leashed. There is a peter rabbit storybook children's garden too.
Boat and Jet ski rental
A 15 minute drive to this dock will get you a 5% discount if you mention you are staying at Clemson-Close Sweetwater Lakehouse. You can launch on Lake Hartwell there and ride it back to the house or play on that side of the Lake. So much to see on Lake Hartwell! One of my favorite waterfalls at it is great for novice hikers, seniors, dogs, and kids. The water is very cold yet refreshing in July. What is nice about these falls is that you can get right up next to it for wonderful photos, picnic, meditation, splash with the dog or kids, write poetry, sing, dance, laugh.

Station Cove Falls Trailhead
State Road S-37-95One of my favorite waterfalls at it is great for novice hikers, seniors, dogs, and kids. The water is very cold yet refreshing in July. What is nice about these falls is that you can get right up next to it for wonderful photos, picnic, meditation, splash with the dog or kids, write poetry, sing, dance, laugh.
This is a bit hard to find. Follow GPS and when you get to fork in dirt road, go right. It is narrow but soon opens to small parking area. There are actually 3 waterfalls on this hike. One is an easy trail. Another requires a walk across a log, another provides for a more advanced hike. You can walk under the falls. Do spend money on hiking shoes 3/4 or boots. Take off when by the water but the trail is best with right gear. Bring water and a snack!
