Lake Arrowhead Village aka ‘The Village’ has shopping, restaurants, activities for the kiddos, music in the summer and a grocery store on the upper level.
Fancy folks - lower your shopping expectations. It’s still fun to shop up here but it’s not a Westfield mall.
This outdoor multi level village does really have something for everyone. Grab souvenirs at Big on Bears, grab a beer at The Taproom, breakfast at Belgian Waffle House, or book a boat ride.

This Jensen’s is the closest to Owl’s Leap but it also is more expensive than typical grocery stores. Because of its close location you are paying for convenience.
Despite being smaller it has various stock and you should find what you need here.

Blue Jay is the quaint neighborhood closest to Owl’s Leap. It has everything you need - grocery, dining, shopping and even a new bar!
This smaller area is much less packed than the village.

You need a car for 99% of travel on the mountain.
If you are traveling during the winter months / snowy season please be prepared with chains and follow all guidelines regarding road closures and restrictions. Please exercise caution driving in winter conditions.

Respect the locals
Lake Arrowhead is a wonderful mountain community that is a great escape from the city. You have probably come up to slow down a bit and enjoy a different pace. Please try to be understanding when things take longer than you are used to. Because this is a tourist destination the weekends here look very different compared to Monday-Friday when things are much slower - be patient with locals who feel like their quaint little town is being run over by city-folks.
