"Sneglen" (the snail) at Kastrup Strandpark is my favorite place for winter swimming.
But both summer and winter are atmospheric here - and pleasantly windless due to the architecture.

Sydhavnstippen has a rich bird and insect life, as well as both sheep and llamas to take care of the area. Paradoxically, the place's beautiful, green natural area was created because Copenhageners lacked a place to dump their construction waste and surplus land until the 1970s. Equally quiet, the coastline was widened by construction waste and has since been allowed to take care of itself. Today, nature has taken over the area, but a metal pipe here and there is reminiscent of Sydhavnstippen's original function.

The garden association Haveforeningen Vennelyst is one of Denmark's oldest allotment gardens.
It is located at Kløvermarksvej together with lots of other "kolonihaver".
Come by and look at the small whimsical houses and lush gardens and eat an ice cream in the common area.
