11 Kings Bridge RdCape Spear is the most easterly point of North America, a proud piece of Newfoundland's history. It is a provincial historic sites with the oldest lighthouse in Newfoundland. You can explore a Fort dating back to the second world war with breathtaking views of the north Atlantic, please pay attention to the signage the cliffs are beautiful but don't get too close to the ocean it can be deadly. Also a great place for whale watching. During the whale season it is a common feeding ground.

Cape Spear is the most easterly point of North America, a proud piece of Newfoundland's history. It is a provincial historic sites with the oldest lighthouse in Newfoundland. They're a family owned restaurant in an active fishing community, if you're lucky enough to be visiting during the fishery season you won't get fresher seafood. You may even spot some of the fisherman on the dock with that days catch.
