The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed while the 3rd bedroom offers a queen bed & twin daybed with a twin trundle underneath. A full size air mattress or pack in play is available upon request. A 2nd full bath is centrally located next to the open and REMODELED kitchen and living area. LOCATED 2 MILES FROM NICKS DOCK AND STATE PARK/RAMP.

There are two sets of stairs inside the home and steps outside the home. Please keep this in mind when booking! Rough River Lake is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers waterway. The water level fluctuates with the season.

Relax and enjoy this peaceful home. Located in the lake community of Ambassador Shores. Lake access is about a 1/2 mile to the ramp. Rent a dock or boat (seasonally) at Moutedier Marina. Nolin State Park is close by too. Fishing & hiking in the area. Early mornings & dusk are best times to see our resident deer. Fire-pit in front yard, firewood available. Mammoth Cave & Dinosaur World about 30 miles away. 30 miles to Glendale. About 20 minutes to Leitchfield.

The Blue Lagoon

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful retreat on Rough River Lake. Close to local restaurants, convenience stores, and nearby boat ramps. Two local golf courses at Rough River State Park & Lafayette. NOTE: The Army Core of Engineers reduces the lake during the winter months (i.e. October-March) and the water levels are much lower than seen in the pictures. You will still be able to access the water but the water will not be up to tree line.
