If you would like to travel to our local historic city of Exeter, There are train stations in our local villages of Whimple & Feniton both of which have parking. Approximately 20 minute drive from the picturesque beaches along the Jurassic coast.

Enjoy a relaxing stay in a modern, fully-furnished, self-contained annexe surrounded by the National Trust’s Killerton Estate in the East Devon countryside. A perfect location for hikers and bikers with public footpaths and cycle paths on the door step. The local pub and village shop is also within walking distance. Exeter City is just 6 miles away and the rest of glorious Devon is within easy reach by car. Parking for 1 car if require a second space please contact prior to stay to arrange.

The Linhay

Relax in a rural setting only minutes away from M5 main road access, Exeter airport, Rockbeare Manor, Westpoint arena and the beautiful city of Exeter is only 10 minutes by train from Whimple or Cranbrook railway stations. A quiet secluded self contained annexe half a mile from the local village of Rockbeare with woodland walks where you can look out for the local wildlife and in the evenings enjoy a sundowner watching the bats and owls. Easy drive to beaches at Exmouth, Budleigh and Sidmouth.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The cottage is an excellent base for a countryside and coastal getaway in Devon. The fully self-contained one bed cottage sits in private grounds with parking and great access to transport links. Just 7 minutes from m5 jcn 29 and Exeter airport or a 12 minute walk from Whimple train station. Exeter has great tourist facilities and restaurants. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the ground floor only. Please don’t plan on leaving your dog alone.

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

Lake Lodge with hot tub at Farthings Farm

We loved living in Lake Lodge whilst we renovated our farmhouse. Waking up each morning to such beautiful views of the pond is a wonderful experience and a great start to a day. The peaceful surroundings, the sounds of birds, wonderful wildlife and beautiful views will recharge your batteries! We currently keep our horses, chickens, ducks,goats, cats and dogs on the farm and will soon be adding some pigs and sheep. For 2026 we have now added a hot tub on the decking with wonderful views.

The Wendy House is a new renovated conversion full of modern convenience despite it being set within the historic 1800’s once working farm. This modern one up one down is lined with the exposed beams of the old Cob barn with modern touches to suit all your aesthetic to daily living needs with a wall hung smart television through to white goods all within the secure gated location

The Coach house is recently renovated to a very high standard. It consists of a living room with plenty of seating, wood burner, free supply of logs, under floor heating, a dining room that opens into our extensive gardens, a bathroom with shower, separate bath and plenty of fluffy towels and a large upstairs bedroom with seating area with views over the River Otter and garden. It is ideal for a couple/ young family as there is a cot and single bed, available in the bedroom area.

Hayes End is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom single storey cottage located in the popular village of Whimple in East Devon. It is a short walk from a shop, 2 pubs and a train station and is a great base from which to explore the many delights of Devon. Fully equipped kitchen, 2 king sized beds (one of which can be split into singles), sitting/dining room with wood burner. The cottage has parking for 2 cars and a small courtyard garden for bbqs.
