The Stables

Situated in Rowland Flat on a three-acre property, the stone cottage was the original tack and feed rooms for Mr Rowland's stables. Separated by a courtyard the stables are now the home of the host. The cottage is comprised of a truly delightful bedroom with an antique double bed with stunning garden views; comfortable lounge room with TV/DVD, CD/radio, books and games; light and open equipped kitchenette with bar fridge, microwave, large electric frying pan and breakfast bar overlooking gardens through french windows (provisions for continental breakfast); the bathroom has both separate shower and claw foot slipper bath, toilet and vanity. R/c air-conditioning/heating and ceiling fans throughout. Access from the cottage to your own verandah with garden spilling over…serenity…the perfect spot for breakfast, coffee or bottle of local wine. Enjoy walks through our vineyard and paddocks and come across surprises such as our free-range chooks, wood fire pizza oven, an array of interesting seating and more. Incredible views across the valley floor to the imposing ranges or, bordering our property, the beguiling North Para River (in winter a roaring, cascading joy to behold or in summer the rock based riverbed allows access to caves, a geologists delight) and the birdlife is bountiful. Use of the swimming pool is available in the warmer months.

Old Brickworks- a quaint & eclectic 2 bedroom stay

Old Brickworks is based in the heart of the Adelaide Hills, just a 2 minute drive out of Lobethal town centre. An eclectic, cosy and unique accomodation offers 2 beds (sleeps 4), with a small kitchenette and lounge/dining area. It was once a old mechanic shed, which stands alongside the 3 brick Onkaparinga Brick Works kilns. The bathroom is via a undercover breezeway but separate to the main dwelling. We have a beautiful outdoor space with a BBQ and veggie patches for you to explore.

The Barn on Hereford

Featuring exposed beams, wood stove and leather couch. Upstairs a queen bed and daybed with a trundle. There is a brand new kitchen and a dining area, all within a 5 minute walk of Main Street with its abundance of restaurants and cafes. The wineries of the Adelaide Hills are just around the corner and McLaren Vale and the Barossa Valley are an easy drive . Great for solo travellers, couples and families with small children. You can walk to the Adelaide Hills Convention Centre too.

1881 Courthouse, Studio

Built in 1881 in historical Church Hill, with modern amenities, the Courthouse is centrally located in Gawler, yet quiet, offering a unique, self-contained accommodation option, close to the Barossa Valley, Gawler main street and shops. Beautifully appointed Studio type accommodation with over length queen size electric bed, unfortunately the massage function is currently not working due to abuse but we are working to get it rectified. However the pillow section can be raised to any desired height . All normal B&B facilities inc TV, Fridge, Air con, close to town centre and 30 mins from Adelaide CBD. Own bathroom, shared laundry... enjoy.
