Cow Lane Cottage

This delightful end stone cottage sits on the outskirts of the picturesque Cheshire town of Bollington, with stunning views from the rear up to the landmark 'White Nancy' and rolling valleys at the front. The cottage is named for the cows that live in the surrounding fields who will often pop their heads over the garden wall to have a munch on the foliage. The cottage also benefits from being close to restaurants, shops,  pubs, and the Macclesfield canal that winds it way through the village.

Plattin Inn - Walk. Cycle. Relax

Originally a traveller’s rest on the 18th century toll road between Buxton and Macclesfield, Plattin Inn was sympathetically restored in 2011, taking advantage of its glorious Peak District Park location. Walk or cycle from the doorstep or sit on the patio and gaze at the spectacular peaks of Shuttlingsloe or Shining Tor. Being just a mile from the famous Cat & Fiddle Road, the towns of Buxton & Macclesfield are only a 15 minute car ride away. Off road parking. Smallish dog by arrangement.

'The Middlewood' is a delightful, luxurious apartment, which has recently been meticulously transformed into a private sanctuary full of character and interest, situated in the tiny village of Adlington. Ideally suited for couples, families or business trips with easy access to Manchester city centre via Adlington rail station. On the edge of the Peak District It is a lovely 15-minute walk down the lane to The Legh Arms where you can sample great ales or dine at the Toby Carvery.

This is a newly refurbished space, with a large window and blind which makes it very light and bright but with privacy. There is a double bed with storage drawers under, a walk in storage area with hanging rail, wall mounted TV and wall mounted drop down table and foldaway chairs which make a useful eating/ work space. Walking distance to a number of country pubs, Eccles Pike, Whaley Bridge and the Buxworth Canal Basin. Stunning views from property across Combs Reservoir and Chapel Golf Course which offer green days. Ideal for children with access to play facilities and animals (chickens and rabbits). Muddy boots and muddy paws welcome.

Self contained annexe in my private garden with ensuite bathroom. Own entrance via side gate. Fridge and kettle with tea and coffee and also microwave, toaster and crockery/cutlery/glasses. Breakfast cereal and milk is supplied and guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Gym and pool across the road , also pub and takeaways within walking distance. Includes towels and toiletries. Sunday evenings are available by request.
