Carlton River Escape

Carlton River Escape was completed in 2023 and built as a peaceful hide away retreat on the back 50 acres of our property. It is nestled right beside our Swift Parrot Conservation Forest area which also shares it space with our local wallabies, wombats, echidnas, pademelons, possums, and eagles. Amid the fresh Tassie air, and the incredible forest views, you will feel completely relaxed listening to the sounds of the wildlife while enjoying the luxury of a secluded brand new home.

Little Crabtree

Striking small hand made home in a paddock - a little piece of architecture in a beautiful landscape. Little Crabtree will delight with its unique take on simplicity. The property includes a private creek, occasional platypus, cheeky quolls and several million pademelons. Escape to the quiet. Our place between Hobart and Port Arthur is aprox 45 mins from Hobart CBD and 35 mins from the airport. You will need your own transport as there are no taxis, Uber or Bus services to Primrose. Stunning views over Frederick Henry Bay to Mount Wellington and across Norfolk Bay towards Port Arthur. Enjoy the cosy wood heater in the spacious open plan living area. Keep an eye on the sky as Tasmania never ceases to amaze with its spectacular sunsets.

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.
