Situated north of the Gwendraeth Valley, the ever expanding village has a lot to offer. You will be within walking distance to an array of shops, gym facilities and there are many places to eat. There are also two local Country Parks to visit and the National BotanicGardens of Wales is nearby.

The location makes it an excellent base for days out in every direction. You’re close to Kidwelly, with its historic castle and charming local atmosphere, and within easy reach of the coast for beach days, coastal walks and fresh sea air. Ffos Las Racecourse is nearby too, making the cottage a great choice for race days and events. When you want a bit more bustle, Carmarthen is just a short drive away for shops, cafés, restaurants and local amenities. Not suitable for anyone under 14

Set in a wonderful rural location, Rose Cottage is an excellent touring base for exploring West Wales and the Gower peninsula. Nestled peacefully in the quiet hamlet of Horeb, this semi-detached cottage has been finished to a very high standard. It has been tastefully decorated throughout and a lot of welcoming touches have been added e.g. a logburner for cosy nights in. 100 yards from the cottage is the Millenium Coastal Path and across the road the local inn - the Waunwyllt.
