Cabs are cheap especially if you speak spanish, the building is a 2 minute walk from 5th avenue, 5 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes from the entertainment district, and 1-minute from the bus station to Cancun, Akumal, Puerto Aventuras, and Tulum. Cheap car rental companies are just one street away as well. I believe in energy efficiency, and so tenants in my units pay their own electricity. The unit has two air conditioners and if they're used 24/7, this will add to costs, as Mexico employs an escalating electricity scale from 0.7-8.5 pesos/kwh. The more that is used each month, the higher the applied rate. At the start of each stay, a rental representative will show the initial meter number, and the number at the end of the stay. The difference is to be paid in cash at a rate of 4 pesos/kwh. Please conserve energy if you can. Laundry is free for guests staying a week or more, but must be activated at the front desk. Small building fee charged to short stay guests. If you want late check out, and it conflicts with the next check in, or the cleaning schedule, Carmen Sol Rentals reserves the right to charge $20 extra for the cleaning service's inconvenience. In Juarez avenue are few small restaurants, laundry, groceries store Oxxo. It is 3 blocks from hiway where you can take the vans to Tulum or Cancún. 20 minutos walking to the beach.

Our place is very carefully equipped we thought about details especially in the kitchen. The rooftop has a grill and a bar as well as sunbeds and couple chairs to chill. The room is quite spacious and there is a safe in the walking closet to keep your belongings. There is a balcony as well with pool view. We include pool towels as well as beach mats. There is a parking space available if you need it. The building is very calm and most of the time the pool is empty. Definitely enjoyable place
