Delightful chalet overlooking Strathtay

We look forward to sharing our lovely chalet with you. If the weather is fine you will wake up to fabulous views across the valley. There are several good walks right from the chalet, and once down the track the possibilities for walks or spectacular places to visit are endless. The dirt track is about 2 miles (3kms) long, and all uphill. All types of family car can make the drive with care. Not suitable for motorbikes or EV's. Due to the chalet being timber construction BBQ's are not allowed.

Flexible main bedroom sleeping with super king size bed which converts to 2 full singles. 2nd bedroom is a double. We live next to a path which takes you north to the Ochils or south to the beautiful Gartmore Water: perfect if you are a walker or a cyclist. The nearby village of Dollar has a castle, cafes, a pub and a restaurant. We are 40 minutes from Edinburgh airport, 25 minutes from Gleneagles Hotel, 20 minutes from Stirling and an hour from the centre of both Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The guest house has a double bed with en suite with a separate living area, with sofa, TV and table for 2. The sofa pulls down to provide a small bed, but we recommend this is for a 1 or 2 small children, or if someone can't sleep/partner snores! This beautiful 4-bedroom house in Falkland is ideally located for those who want to experience the stunning Scottish countryside and the historic villages where much of the Outlander series has been filmed. Kaimes Cottage, secluded quiet entire guest studio

Our large detached studio contains two single beds with an en-suite bathroom with toilet and shower and a basic kitchen corner. Kaimes Cottage is situated between Braco and Muthill on the A822 and Gleneagles is only 10 minutes away. 15 minutes to Dunblane and Crieff, 25 minutes to Doune Castle, where "Outlander" was filmed.
