The bedroom opens onto a patio next to the pool. The cottage has a heater and electric blanket.

Guests do not have to share any spaces within the home with any members of the household as it is a totally independent unit even though it is situated within the main house. The only shared areas are outside in the garden and at the pool.

Light filled 1 bedroom that overlooks a beautiful tranquil garden shaded by 100 year old oak trees. With en-suite bathroom it fits two and is centrally located in suburb of Rosebank/Dunkeld. Only a quick 10 min walk to the Gautrain and the business hub of Rosebank. Rosebank offers a wonderful shopping experience as well as the best restaurants. Close to the city center, art and culture, parks and Netcare Rosebank Hospital makes it a very central destination.

Our cottage, with backup Solar and Water Tanks to ensure our guests stay comfortable, is tucked away under a big sweet gum tree. Guarded by our two friendly Chow Chow dogs the cottage looks out on our pool and has its own outside patio and braai area. Inside the cottage is a cozy studio apartment with a kitchenette, study nook with WiFi, a cupboard and a comfortable double bed. The separate modern bathroom is stocked with fresh towels and soap.

Perfect contained room

We have recently installed solar panels and battery-backup to cope with the loadshedding as well as a large water storage tank for water outages Snug cozy contained room has a double bed, kitchenette with two gas plates and bathroom with a shower. It's not the biggest space (23,5 square metres) but has almost everything you need for a stay in one of Johannesburg's beautiful old tree-lined suburbs. The area is safe and close to the train.
