Misty Mountain Hut-Ruapehu is located in the sleepy little village of Rangataua, 5 minutes distance to Mountain road going up to the Turoa skifield and Ohakune. The 1 bedroom colonial villa has a beautiful view of the mountain. Unlimited wifi and a new firebox with plenty of firewood and a heat pump ensure you are warm in winter. My favourite time here is summer for amazing walks/cycling up mountains to enjoy majestic views. Misty Mountain Hut supports local staff by paying $40/hr for cleaning.

A unique accommodation in the heart of the Rangitikei. Light the old shacklock stove, sit back and enjoy peace and quiet- all while only 10 mins from the superb Dukes Roadhouse Cafe. Please note this is a Historic Shearer's Quarters. If you have mobility issues please be aware there are no ramps and only steps.

Walk the world famous Tongariro Crossing and discover the cycle ways, kayak the Whanganui River and explore the 'Bridge to No Where'. "The Unit" is a Private self contained space away from the main house at the rear of the Garage. It is cosy with views of the countryside. Located 3 minutes up the hill from Taihape township. The Unit gives you all the comforts of home on your journey so you can relax and enjoy your stay. Taihape is a farming town and with the Main Highway going right through it's centre, plenty of choice for dining out. Taihape is commonly Warm summer and cold winter weather. We cater for both.

Waireka Apartment, situated in Ohakune in the Ruapehu District is a self contained 2 bedroom apartment each with a queen size bed, a large lounge with mountain views, kitchen and own spa pool. The open plan living allows for intimate interaction while the French doors allow you to move into a cozy outdoor experience.

This modern ground level, cosy & quiet apartment opens to a north facing Zen Garden soon to be completed by a local landscaper. The queen bed is noted as extremely comfortable with luxury cotton, wool & down linen with an electric blanket in winter. The sofa bed in the living space is available at an extra charge of $20 p.n. for linen for a second or third person. An additional fold up bed also available for $20 p.n.
