Private Guesthouse with Bay View Deck

The one bedroom, one bath unit was recently remodeled (in 2017) and includes all new kitchen, bathroom, full size laundry and air conditioning. The large 400 square foot private deck has new outdoor furniture with views of Mission Bay and gorgeous sunsets year round. Enjoy a show on the 50" 4K LG smart TV in the living room which offers Netflix, Amazon Video, and major network TV stations. Cook a delicious meal in the kitchenette complete with a mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, electric stove top, coffeemaker, and more. If you plan to head to the beach, the storage ottoman is secretly a "beach box" containing a couple of folding chairs, beach toys, towels and a small cooler. The unit is stocked with coffee, shampoo, conditioner, laundry supplies, iron, and more. Filtered water is provided via a faucet on the kitchen sink. Easy check-in via a numeric keypad on the front door with the code provided prior to arrival. Plenty of street parking is available. We love meeting new people and live next door in the main house so we are available most anytime. We are both from San Diego and still love to explore the latest new spots so we are happy to give recommendations. Bay Park is a great central neighborhood originally built in the early 1940s. It was recently voted the most livable neighborhood in a recent San Diego poll. Check out the restaurants on Morena Boulevard, which are just a few minutes' walk away or explore all of the major attractions of San Diego easily. The house has easy access to I-5 and is only 10-15 mins from downtown, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and the airport. The private guest house is located across from Mission Bay and within walking distance to bay, market, restaurants and coffee shops. Uber/Lyft is $8 to $14 to most of San Diego's main attractions. There is a bit of white noise from the highway down the hill near Mission Bay when out on the deck but nothing too bad, just worthy of mention. The unit has double paned vinyl windows so it's quiet indoors.

This 2nd floor retreat sits in a prime location of Hillcrest, a highly desirable area in San Diego. It is very bright, quiet, and private and sits directly behind our house(pictured) with no common walls. You are within walking distance to "The Heart of Hillcrest" where you will discover many fabulous restaurants, coffee and boutique shops, and so much more. Best Location!!! Walk to all! Take the trolley, Uber! & optional -one parking space. Please read the reviews! You'll love it too! It's Central & well furnished & a fully equipped kitchen. The Casita is a roomy, bright & comfortable duplex with a large lighted private patio/BBQ. Transit Center is a 6 minute walk, where you can pickup the city MTS trolley, or trains. The local neighborhood is highly walk-able and perched along the San Diego Bay in Little Italy. Little Italy is the most vibrant neighborhood in downtown San Diego with a main street that abounds with restaurants, boutiques, craft beer, and wine bars all at your doorstep. This is a very urban location which brings a lot of urban noise. The unit sits adjacent the train and trolley line in the urban core. No parking provided, Ideal for guests without a car.

This well designed, fully updated detached studio casita is located in one of the most sought after neighborhoods in San Diego - Mission Hills. Surrounded by a serene garden courtyard with private entry and quiet patio. Close to great dining, grocery stores and shopping, and a mere 10 minutes or less to most of San Diego’s main attractions. If you are coming by car, there is plenty of free street parking - otherwise Ubers are plentiful and reasonably priced.

Located in Mission Hills,10 minute drive from Balboa park, Old Town, airport, Downtown.You’ll love it because of the ambiance, privacy, neighborhood, comfy bed, microwave, fridge.Easy walk to bars, restaurants, stores, public transit.Things to note: no stove, dormer ceilings, tub (NO SHOWER). This safe space is located upstairs above my home. There is a separate private entrance, a queen bed. Feminine, flowery, funky, victorian decor.

The room has a private entrance. It's ideally located in a residential area of Ocean Beach. 5 blocks to the beach, OB pier, and 2 blocks to village life, shops & restaurants. It has a queen bed, a small private bathroom with a shower, a fridge, TV, Wifi, microwave, etc. Guests will love the location and privacy! Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc. are available for your enjoyment. Enjoy the great ocean view from the backyard.
