The Garden Wing is a very special tranquil place

This unique place has a style all its own. Designed in a Japanese way with it's own Water Garden, terrace and boardwalk. Ideal for a family and children will love The Garden Wing, but there is access to the Japanese water garden, and bedroom 3+4 have unguarded stairs to unuseable mezzanine bunks ( see photos). Romantic barn with kingsize 4-poster, fire, bikes

If you are looking for a romantic escape in the New Forest, just a short walk from the pub and open forest, then look no further. Situated in the grounds of an impressive country house, the Goat Shed is the stylishly renovated ground floor of a 19th century barn, with a kingsize four poster bed, claw foot bath and woodburning stove. Deer roam through the gardens, and our wood burning stove makes nights in perfectly cosy. A great spot from which to explore the forest, or simply relax in comfort.

It has rustic charm with country modern facilities and is situated in a peaceful rural lane which leads directly onto the forest. It is very near to the coast and the bustling Georgian market town of Lymington where you can also find the Isle of Wight ferry terminal ( 30 mins crossing ) or charter a yacht and sail yourself. Otherwise enjoy a ramble from your door across the forest but watch out for donkeys !
