Located along the beautiful coast of Maine in the small village of Brooklin, the house has a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining room, bedroom with full-size bed, and full bathroom all on the first floor. Within a short walk are the Brooklin General Store, Friend Memorial Library, Town Office, Brooklin Historical Museum and Keeping Society, WoodenBoat School and Store, Brooklin Village Inn and Pub, a handful of shops and places to eat, and numerous boatyards.

Stargazers will be delighted: low humidity, expansive view of the southeastern sky, & next to no light pollution, make for wonderful viewing. Rest. Relax. Recharge.

BREEZE, in a tree The Appleton Retreat

BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE does not have a hot tub but guests may reserve the sauna, which is close by and private. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.

Spend time on the banks of Herrick Bay in this charmingly restored, single level classic 1930's Maine shingled cottage consisting of a main living/dining area, kitchen, three bedrooms and one full bath. This property rents Saturday to Saturday from late June through early October with a maximum occupancy of 4 adults/teens and 2 young children.
