A backyard path to hammock & chill spot by Ripples (view only, but 1/2 mile away is Long Pond for swimming, canoe/kayak rental). Grill. Firepit. Tranquility! Acadia National Park ocean front & garden cottages

Both our houses are designed in the contemporary style. We used custom made decor and cherry tree furniture. A lot of windows, glass doors, bright and open space are inside the house. It is very quiet outside. You most likely will be alone at the beach. We share the whole sea cove with only one neighboring house. It is a pure paradise if you want to live on the beach on your own and within minutes of driving to the main local attractions. You'll be amazed of our botanical garden and landscape.

Located on Mount Desert Islands, "Quietside". The cottage features high ceilings and an open floor plan, with a small deck looking into the woods The walls are decorated with original art work by the owner. Our location is central to the island, situated just outside the village of Somesville; 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor by car. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.

Located at the top of Somes Sound and midway between Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor, Azalea Knoll is a hidden gem - a perfect location for everything Mt. Desert Island offers. In 10 minutes, you reach trails, carriage roads, lakes restaurants and more. The 2 bedroom home, which sleeps 4, has an open floorplan, high ceilings and custom kitchen. Two full bathrooms, including one with a jet tub, two decks, a porch and fire pit provide options for relaxing when not exploring the island.

Willowbrook is a comfortable 1BR unit in a perfect spot for guests wanting to get out and explore Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park! The small backyard area is a nice private spot to relax without having to bump into any other guests in neighboring units as it is surrounded by fencing.
