This 90 year old ranch house has been recently lovingly restored and is a gorgeous, intimate gem located in the heart of Gold Country. It is situated in a field overlooking 45 acres of vineyards, 4 miles outside of Plymouth, CA, on Highway 49, between Placerville and Jackson. The exposed beams and wood floors of this charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath house, make the framework for a perfect creative get-a-way.

The Amador Farmhouse

Experience wine country the way it used to be: quaint, beautiful, and charming. The Farmhouse built in the late 1800’s offers three updated remodeled bedrooms each with their own private bathrooms/showers. Relax, enjoy and wash the city away in our lovely vintage claw tubs. Slip into the covers of your luxurious King and Queen size beds with fine linens. Enjoy a cozy pull out couch in the living room. Wrap around porch offers stunning vineyard/sunset views. Life is better on the farm.

With over 50 gorgeous vineyards in striking range (most with adorable tasting rooms), this is a great place to come and unwind! With Wifi and available laundry, this is great for a short stay or long stay! VERY pet friendly! Summer is upon us, and the weather is perfect! Our apartment is located under our main house, with its own keyless private entrance. You'll enjoy a quiet and peaceful setting among tall pines, with wildlife abound. Amador County is rich in gold mining history, and has many charming gold rush towns for you to visit. If your travel journeys include both Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, we are conveniently located between the two ( 2 1/2 hours from Yosemite, and 1 1/2 from Tahoe)

This is a cute second story guesthouse. Its’s very private, located on our 83+ acre vineyard/ranch. We have a 6 acre working vineyard and commercially growing Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Muscat Canelli The guesthouse has recently been up-dated and is light, airy with many up-scale features and amenities. It’s a very private setting with no immediate neighbors. There are approximately 140 wineries within a 25 mile radius of our place.
