You will discover a new experience…fresh air, a beautiful hardwood forest, a small private lake, so quiet and peaceful with wildlife surrounding you, and of course, cardinals! You will be inside a gated community with private parking, a campfire area and a canoe. You may fish in the lake in front of the guest house, but it is strictly “catch and release”. On the peninsula of a pond surrounded by forests and sweeping views of open hay fields, the Cabin is a unique, tranquil getaway located inside of a working ranch. Watch clouds float by on the attached porch, or the sunset on the water, then enjoy the warmth of the fire pit while the stars come out! Hidden Gem Cottages: Sapphire Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house has a king bed in the master with attached bath, a secondary bedroom with 2 queens, an additional hall bath and queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It sits on a stocked pond with a fishing pier. You will have access to fish and relax at our catch and release pond. The outdoor space also includes a patio with gas grill, large front porch overlooking the pond, covered back porch overlooking woods and a fire pit.

Twin Oaks Ranch

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Fishing is permitted in the ponds. The ponds are stocked with a dock. Enjoy a walk through the forest trails. Clean and newly renovated guest house. A fully equipped kitchen is provided with all the necessary utensils. The bedroom has a king-size bed. Two couches can be pulled out to create two additional beds. We welcome dogs. There is a fenced yard for dogs and a doggy door. 15 minutes to town. There is no fire pit or grill.

Lovely Guest House

Our Guest House is recently remodeled and just re-listed on Airbnb. It now has a full kitchen with an oven and induction cooktop, new flooring and other new finishes. Located in the beautiful piney woods of East Texas with breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and valleys. In addition to the Guest House you will enjoy a game room/exercise room and our beautiful grounds with a hammock and children’s playscape. It's the perfect getaway for a group of friends or family.

The Henry Homeplace has been restored to as close to original as possible. This 85 acre property offers a pond for fishing, natural scenery and wildlife, an outdoor private hot tub, an outdoor pavilion, farm animals to love on and so much more! Our location is perfect for being close to town, but getting away from the city for a little bit of rest and relaxation. Restaurants, shops, historical treasures and even the Texas State Railroad are close enough for you to enjoy.
