There is an abundance of beautiful walks with a selection of river valleys, waterfalls and giant trees.

Accommodation located within 10 minutes drive to the spectacular MOUNT FIELD NATIONAL PARK. Cottage was built in the early 1900's in the picturesque Derwent Valley. The cottage is set on 13 acres and is private with your own fully fenced yard. We give you your privacy but if you need us, we are close by to assist. The cottage makes a welcoming break between Hobart and Strahan. Cottage caters to children over 12 years of age only.

Part of the Sassafras Springs Estate in Ellendale - Raspberry Cottage is named for the raspberry pickers who worked on the farm when it grew fields of raspberries.
